Blast off with Astronaut Handbook, a brand-new nonfiction picture book by Meghan McCarthy. With her trademark humor, appealing text, and brightly colored illustrations, Meghan has created the perfect story to share with children who are fascinated by astronauts. How do you become an astronaut? What do astronauts eat? How does an astronaut go to the bathroom in space? Astronaut Handbook answers these questions and includes additional details for teachers, librarians, and parents to share with young readers. About Meghan McCarthy: Meghan McCarthy is the author-illustrator of The Adventures of Patty and the Big Red Bus, and Aliens Are Coming!—an ALA Notable Children's Book, a School Library Journal Best Book of the Year, and a Kirkus Reviews Editor's Choice.
