A collaboration with Japanese actress, artist, model and photographer Chelsea Maika. It's pretty light blue in color, with gold line illustrations by Chelsea on the front of the camera, the film box and the lovely gift box the camera comes in. The Chelsea Maika Golden Half is a half-frame camera — you get 72 pictures from a 36 exposure roll! The camera has two apertures (f8 & f11), shutter spd of 1/100 and a hotshoe for a flash. This is a highly collectable toy camera.
About Golden Half:
The Golden Half is a 35mm half-frame camera- exposes only half of one frame of film, so it doubles the number of pictures to be taken on a single roll of film. In the 1960s cameras were still considered a luxury item in Japan but more and more people wanted to take pictures every day. The half-frame camera was a direct answer to that wish. Half a century later when the whole world is reminded of the significance of resources, this camera is on the map again.
