Dr. Seuss's Oh, the Places You'll Go! is a wonderfully wise and joyous ode to finding one's path through the maze of life. For its 20th anniversary, this classic has been transformed into a pop-up book by master paper engineer David A. Carter. Join us for a reading of Oh the Places You'll Go! and other classic Dr. Seuss books by writer, performer, and powerHouse Arena staffer Ryan Britt, followed by some cool Dr. Seussian art activities. Free. Ages 2–7.

Save on Seuss! For the week leading up to the reading (March 7—14), buy any two Dr. Seuss books and get a third book for FREE! That includes beginning readers, hardcover classics & board books! Third title must be of lesser or equal value.

About the pop-up edition of the book:

About the paper engineer:
David A. Carter is a master paper engineer who created the Bugs series which has sold over 6 million copies. He is the author and illustrator of the critically acclaimed color series featuring One Red Dot, Blue 2, 600 Black Spots, Yellow Square, and White Noise. He lives in Auburn, California, with his wife and two daughters.

About the performer:
Ryan Britt has appeared with The Moth, Stripped Stories, The Liar Show, and The Heeb Storytelling series. Ryan's plays have enjoyed both full productions and staged readings in NYC with The Tank, and The Longest Lunch Theatre Company. He lives in Brooklyn, and is a happy member of The powerhouse Arena bookstore staff since June 2009.
