Vincent Cianni, author of We Skate Hardcore, will be presenting his new documentary project, Gays in the Military: How America Thanked Me, which explores how the lives of many gay and lesbian service members have been affected by homophobia in the military, and by "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." For the past year, Cianni has been photographing and interviewing veterans and active duty personnel, from a 91-year-old World War II veteran to recent enlistees.
