Kris Kringle’s one-eyed cousin from the South Pole stops by a sleeping family’s house on Christmas Eve. The startled father must confront Santa Clops and save Christmas for his children. Booger-thumbs instead of sugar-plums, dino-penguins instead of reindeer, and coal instead of gifts? Uh-oh! “Scary Christmas to all and to all a good fright!”

About the Author.

Gig Wailgum created the character Santa Clops in 1990. Since then, old one-eye has appeared on newspaper covers, greeting cards, and in comics. Mr. Wailgum has had illustrations published in the New Yorker magazine and New York Times Sunday Book Review. “A Visit From Santa Clops” is a delightful spoof of the classic Clement-Clarke Moore poem. Santa Clops is a wickedly funny Creepmas tale complete with an Antarctic cave and flying dino-penguins. There is a rumor that many years ago Gig may have found a lump of shiny black rock in his Christmas stocking, but no holly-bats could be found to confirm this story. The Author/Illustrator lives in Connecticut with his family.
