About the Author.

John Tottenham’s poetry, essays and performances have led to him being described as “our preeminent contemporary poete maudit.” A unique purveyor of magnanimous misanthropy and magical cynicism, he is the author of one novel—to be published in 2025 by Semiotext(e))—numerous essays, and four volumes of poetry: The Inertia VariationsAntiepithalamia & Other Poems of Regret and Resentment, and The Hate Poems. His new collection, Fresh Failure, is published by Hat & Beard Press this Spring.

Salomé mainly writes about catholicism, ambition, sin, personality, microcelebrity, and the bootless pursuit of truth and beauty. She is active as a professional church organist, classical singer, and piano teacher.
