Inspired by vintage fabric, folk art, and shapes found in nature, textile artist Anna Joyce believes we should live with color and pattern everyday. In her new book, Joyce shares her signature hand-printing techniques for adding modern patterns to ready-made surfaces such as fabric, ceramics, paper, leather, furniture, walls, and more.  Join us for the launch, in which the author will lead participants in an activity to customize their very own tote bag, generously donated by Dharma Trading.

About Stamp, Stencil, Paint:

In the first section, Stamp, readers learn how to easily create their own stamps and use repeating patterns to make gorgeous patterns. The second section, Stencil, shows readers how to cut a stencil and mix custom colors, as well as tricks for successful stenciling techniques. The last section, Paint, teaches hand-painting techniques to create one-of-a-kind bold, colorful patterns.

Vibrantly colored projects include items for decorating the home, stylish accessories for your wardrobe, and items for everyday family use: Blooming Market Bags, Handmade Wrapping Paper, Cozy Beach Towels, Bright Table Linens, a Folk Art Barn Lamp, Playful Ceramic Platters, a Silk Infinity Scarf, Windswept Bedding Set, Geometric Throw Pillows, and much more. They are relaxed, include stunning colorways, and will inspire you to look at your surroundings in a new way.

Following beautiful step-by-step photography, crafters will learn new, easy skills to stamp, stencil, and hand-paint at home like a studio designer.
