Photographers Donna Ferrato and Carol Allen-Storey discuss The Power of the Still Image and documenting domestic violence.

About the Event.

The staggering global figure of 1 in 3 women having experienced physical or sexual violence reaffirms the urgency to redress wrongs against women and assert womens’ rights.

Among the fierce advocates on the issue, meet photographer, Donna Ferrato, who has dedicated the best part of her fifty year career photographing USA-based domestic abuse and sexual violence from the bedroom to the sex clubs.

Her latest book, Holy, is a self-reflective and unsparing account of the issue chronicled from the 1960s until today.

Join Donna and documentary photographer Carol Allen-Storey, to discuss The Power of the Still Image and documenting domestic violence.

As well as in-person, this event is being held also online.
