Brooklyn based magazine and indie press SplashLand Magazine launches ISSUE 1 at powerHouse Arena on June 8th at 7pm. There will be readings from some of our contributors, music, drinks, dancing, and fun vibes. This event is totally free and open to the public! All are welcome to come join us in a celebration of indie publishing, small presses, love, and friendship, and art. Dance around and let your hair down.
About the Magazine.
SplashLand Magazine is a queer owned and operated seasonal magazine and independent publishing house established in March 2023. We aim to celebrate the work of young artists, writers, and creatives. SplashLand works both in the digital and physical // analog environments exploring and questioning how these two intertwine and disconnect, or if it is even valid to distinguish them as different anymore? We publish a seasonal print magazine alongside our ever-evolving digital site. Additionally, under SplashLand Press we publish long form literary works, photo and artist books, chapbooks and poetry books.
